GPT-6 Astra Is Generally Available in GitHub Copilot
OpenAI's newest general-purpose model, GPT-6 Astra, is now available in GitHub Copilot, designed for long-horizon, autonomous coding and agentic tasks. GitHub says the model plans and validates as it goes, batching diagnosis with verification and independently confirming results before declaring a task done.
