GitHub's Slack integration now brings Copilot CLI and Copilot app agentic capabilities directly into Slack conversations, letting teams plan changes, investigate issues, and hand off coding tasks without leaving chat. GitHub is also a launch partner for Slack Code, a new channel type built for agent collaboration.
