Anthropic Launches Claude Code as Standalone Product with Security Plugin
Anthropic rolled out Claude Code as a standalone agentic coding system, not just a tool. The company announced it now writes most of Anthropic's own code and added a real-time security-guidance plugin that flags SQL injection, XSS, and hardcoded secrets inline during coding sessions.
